The price of Sodium Metabisulfite was firm in last week

Last week, the domestic price of Sodium Pyrosulfite was slightly stronger. The average price of industrial Sodium Pyrosulfite at the beginning of the last week was 2016.67 CNY / ton, and that at the end of the last week was 2033.33 CNY / ton, up 0.83%.

In June, the domestic Soda Ash and Sulfur prices continued to rise. Supported by the cost, the ex factory price of Sodium Metabisulfite continued to rise. Last week, the domestic Sodium Metabisulphite market had a good overall turnover. The market price range of industrial grade Sodium Metabisulfite was 1900-2200 CNY / ton, and most of the prices were concentrated around 2000-2050 CNY / ton. With the support of rigid demand, the downstream is more willing to prepare goods, the inventory of Sodium Metabisulphite has declined, and the manufacturers mainly complete the orders of old customers. Till last Friday, the domestic Soda Ash price rose by 4.29% in June, and the Sulfur price rose by 1.26%. The raw material cost continued to rise, and the rising cost will further support the future market price of Sodium Pyrosulfite. 

It is expected that the domestic market price of Sodium Metabisulfite will still rise in the short term.
