Last week, the Chinese price of Sodium Metabisulfite rose sharply. The average price of industrial grade sodium pyrosulfite at the beginning of last week was 1866.67 CNY / ton, and that at the end of the last week was 1983.33 CNY / ton, up 6.25%.

Affected by the continuous rise of upstream raw material prices, cost transmission prompted manufacturers to increase the ex factory price of Sodium Metabisulphite this month, driving the domestic market price of Sodium Metabisulfite to rise in an all-round way. Since May, domestic Soda Ash price has increased by 4.22%, sulfur price has increased by 7.17%, and raw material cost has continued to rise. The cost will further support the domestic market price of Sodium Metabisulfite in the future.

The cost of raw materials continues to rise. Supported by the cost, it is expected that the domestic market price of Sodium Pyrosulfite will be stronger.
