Since July 4, continuous heavy rainfall has occurred in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River; on July 12, the Chinese national flood control general emergency response level III was upgraded to level II, and the flood control situation is very serious in the coming 1-2 weeks.

The charge persons of some chemical enterprises in Anhui province, Hubei province, Jiangxi province and other regions reported that due to the continuous heavy rainfall, some chemical enterprises and chemical parks in some regions have already suffered from waterlogging, and some enterprises have issued internal shutdown notices.

Flood warning of the Yangtze River has become a new issue of concern. The Yangtze River economic belt covers 11 provinces and cities. It is conservatively estimated that there are 300,000.00 chemical enterprises along the Yangtze River. If the water level of the Yangtze River rises again, it may affect the production and goods storage of more chemical enterprises along the river.
