Recently, the National Standard Committee has officially released the national standard of GB / T1628-2020 Glacial Acetic Acid for industrial use, which will be officially implemented on February 1, 2021.
In this revision, the requirements of product classification and grading in the original standard are cancelled, and the product is divided into two types: I and II; Propionic Acid content index and detection method are added; detection methods of partial testing indexes are modified. Through nearly two years' research, discussion and experimental verification, the production enterprises, user units, quality inspection research institutes and expert committee members have determined that the new standard and the new technology are advanced on test indexes, the analysis method is accurate and feasible.
The new national standard will better adapt to the development trend of China's Glacial Acetic Acid industry, promote the progress of industrial Glacial Acetic Acid industry, strengthen the quality management of product production process, and meet the demands of downstream production enterprises.
