China's phosphorus ore market rose in March

Till March 2, the average reference price of phosphorus ore(P2O5 30%) in mainstream areas of China was around 423.3 CNY / ton, which increased by 20 CNY / ton or 4.96% compared with the end of February (403.3 CNY / ton on February 26) and 24 CNY / ton or 6.72% compared with the beginning of January (396.6 CNY / ton on January 1).

After Chinese New Year holiday, in late February, the domestic phosphorus ore market as a whole maintained a temporary stable. In the first week after the new year holiday, the overall start-up of the mines were at a low level. Near the end of February, the downstream demand gradually recovered, and the price of yellow phosphorus in the downstream market rose slightly, which led to a strong mood of price upward adjustment in phosphate rock industry.

The downstream demand of domestic yellow phosphorus market has gradually recovered. After a short wait-and-see, the market price has gradually increased. At present, the yellow phosphorus market is operating at a high level, and the enterprises still have the intention to increase. At present, the ex factory acceptance transaction reference price of Yunnan Net phosphorus is 17000-17200 CNY / ton. Phosphoric acid market is supported by raw materials, and the quotation may be increased sporadically in the near future.

In March, with the arrival of spring ploughing season, the demand of phosphate fertilizer industry in the downstream of domestic phosphate ore will continue to increase, which will give support to the phosphate ore industry. Therefore, in the short term, the phosphate ore market will continue to operate at a high and stable level, and with the increase of downstream demand, the market price will continue to upward.
