The caustic soda commodity index was 70.50 on March 28, down 65.92% from the highest point 206.87 (2017-11-14) in the cycle, and 8.28% higher than the lowest point of 65.11 on October 09, 2020. The market performance of liquid chlorine in the upstream of caustic soda is fair this week, and the demand in the downstream is supported. Generally speaking, it will be mainly operated in the later stage or strongly. From the downstream of sodium hydroxide to the end of demand, aluminum, paper and other industries adhere to the demand-based procurement, a strong wait-and-see attitude.
